Slot Options Menu Table 4. Slot Options Menu Selections Slot Menu Item Description Remove Adapter Replace Adapter This indicates an adapter is in the slot and the slot is presently powered on. This indicates the power to the slot is turned Off and the system only supports Hot Replacement. Slot Detailed Information Hot Replacement means the existing adapter can be removed and must be replaced with an identical adapter. This option is always present in the Slot Options menu. Selecting this option displays all pertinent information about the selected PCI slot and the adapter board in the PCI slot. See the topic Slot Detailed Information for more information. 23

Slot Menu Item
Description
Remove Adapter
This indicates an adapter is in the slot and the slot is presently powered
on.
Replace Adapter
This indicates the power to the slot is turned Off and the system only

Information
