Removing a Hot Plug Board Use this topic to physically remove a PCI Hot Plug Board from its PCI slot. 1. At the front of the HP NetServer, remove the front bezel from the NetServer (refer to your Installation Guide). 2. Extend the HP NetServer chassis safely from the rack (refer to your Installation Guide). 3. Remove the PCI Access Panel (refer to your Installation Guide). CAUTION Do Not Drop Screws or Other Metal Objects into the HP NetServer. 4. Verify power to the desired PCI slot is turned off, by checking the power LED associated with the desired PCI slot. See Figure 24 and Table 7. The green Power LED must be OFF, before attempting to open the PCI hold-down latch. 32

Removing a Hot Plug Board
Use this topic to physically remove a PCI Hot Plug Board from its PCI slot.
1.

2.
