Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38). Remove the touchpad button board: 1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (1). 2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (2). 3. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (3) that secure the touchpad button board to the computer. 4. Remove the touchpad button board from the computer (4).
