Removal and Replacement Procedures 5.7 RTC Battery RTC Battery Spare Part Number Information RTC battery (includes 2-sided tape) 431436-001 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (refer to Section 5.3). 2. Remove the memory module compartment cover (Section 5.6). 3. Disconnect the RTC battery cable 1 from the system board. 4. Remove the RTC battery 2. ✎ The RTC battery is secured to the computer by 2-sided tape. All replacement RTC battery spare part kits include 2-sided tape.
