8. Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the TouchPad button board cable is attached, and then disconnect the TouchPad button board cable from the system board. 9. Lift the rear edge of the top cover (1) and swing it up and forward until it detaches from the computer. 10. Remove the top cover (2). Reverse this procedure to install the top cover.
