Removal and Replacement Procedures- Microtower (MT) Chassis 6.16 Power Supply Å WARNING: Voltage is always present on the system board when the computer is plugged into an active AC outlet. To avoid possible personal injury and damage to the equipment the power cord should be disconnected from the computer and/or the AC outlet before opening the computer. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 6.1, "Preparation for Disassembly"). 2. Remove the access panel (Section 6.2, "Access Panel"). 3. Disconnect all power cables from the mass storage devices and from the system board. 4. Remove the 4 screws 1 that secure the power supply to the chassis. 5. Slide the power supply toward the front of the computer 4, then lift it out of the computer. 6.16 Power Supply

WARNING:
Voltage is always present on the system board when the computer is plugged into an
active AC outlet. To avoid possible personal injury and damage to the equipment the power cord should
be disconnected from the computer and/or the AC outlet before opening the computer.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Section 6.1, “Preparation for Disassembly”
).
2. Remove the access panel (
Section 6.2, “Access Panel”
).
3. Disconnect all power cables from the mass storage devices and from the system board.
4. Remove the 4 screws

that secure the power supply to the chassis.
5. Slide the power supply toward the front of the computer

, then lift it out of the computer.
To install the power supply, reverse the removal procedure.
