Replace RTC battery. Download the current ROM BIOS from the HP Web and reflash the ROM BIOS. Download the most current ROM BIOS from the Web and reflash the system ROM. Reconnect keyboard with computer turned off. Check connector for bent or missing pins. Ensure that none of the keys are depressed. Replace keyboard. Replace system board.
