Removal and Replacement Procedures- Microtower (MT) Chassis 6.11 System Fan 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 6.1, "Preparation for Disassembly"). 2. Remove the access panel (Section 6.2, "Access Panel"). 3. Disconnect the cable that connects the system fan to the system board. 4. Remove the screws that secure the fan to the chassis and remove the fan. 6.11 System Fan
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Section 6.1, “Preparation for Disassembly”
).
2. Remove the access panel (

).
3. Disconnect the cable that connects the system fan to the system board.
4. Remove the screws that secure the fan to the chassis and remove the fan.
To install the fan, reverse the removal procedures.
