6. DTMF MEMORY Selecting the DTMF transmit speed The transmit speed of the DTMF code can be set to accommodate your operating needs. 1. While holding down [SET LOCK], hold down [ ] for 1 second to enter the Initial Set mode. 2. Repeatedly push [SET LOCK] or [MONI ANM PA] to select "DTD" (DTMF speed). 3. Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired transmit speed, as shown below. Display DTD-1 DTD-2 DTD-3 DTD-5 Interval 100 milliseconds 200 milliseconds 300 milliseconds 500 milliseconds Speed 5.0 cps 2.5 cps 1.6 cps 1.0 cps cps=characters/second 4.
