Resetting, Partial Reset, All Reset

9. OTHER FUNCTIONS Resetting Occasionally, erroneous information will be displayed when, for example, first applying power. This may be caused externally by static electricity or by other factors. If this problem occurs, turn OFF the transceiver. After waiting a few seconds, turn ON the transceiver again. If the problem is still there, perform a Partial reset or an All reset. BE CAREFUL! An All Reset clears all settings and returns all settings to the factory defaults. DDPartial Reset 1. Hold down [ ] for 1 second to turn OFF the transceiver. 2. While holding down [V/MHz SCAN], hold down [ ] for 1 second to turn ON the transceiver.
