9� OTHER FUNCTIONS One-touch PTT function The PTT switch on the HM-133V can be used as the One-touch PTT function� This function enables you to transmit without continuously holding down [PTT]� L To prevent accidental continuous transmissions with this function, the transceiver has a time-out timer� See page 8-5 for details� 1� Push [FUNC], and then [PRIO 3 PTT-M] to turn ON the One-touch PTT function� • The activity indicator lights green� 2� Push [PTT] to transmit, and push again to receive� L A beep sound at the start of transmission and when returning to reception� L The activity indicator lights red and blinks while transmitting� 3� Push [FUNC], and then [PRIO 3 PTT-M] to turn OFF the function� • The activity indicator disappears� When the function is turned ON, the activity indicator lights as described below, and indicates the following states� Lights green: While receiving Lights red: While transmitting Push , and then � About the volume level and the squelch level When the volume level or the squelch level is changed using the HM-133V: • "VOL" or "SQL" is displayed� • The level will be displayed in the Memory channel number readout and the S/RF indicator� When the volume level is changed using the HM-133V The S/RF indicator is displayed as shown below, depending on the level� The volume level or the squelch level Indicator 32 26 ~ 31 21 ~ 25 "VOL" is displayed� The volume level is displayed by a number and an indicator� When the squelch level is changed using the HM-133V 16 ~ 20 11 ~ 15 6 ~ 10 1~5 "SQL" is displayed� The squelch level is displayed by a number and an indicator� 9-4
