Troubleshooting LED Information The Intel® Server Board TIGI2U includes LEDs that can aid in troubleshooting your system. A table of these LEDs with a description of their use is listed below. LED Name ID System fault Function Aid in server identification from the back panel Visible fault warning Location Control panel and board rear left corner Control panel and board rear left corner Color Blue Green or Amber ATA drive activity Memory fault 1-6 Diagnostic LEDs. 1-4 (LSB, bit1, bit2, MSB) CPU 1 & 2 Fan Fault CPU 1 & 2 Fault 5v Standby Power LED Control panel Identify failing memory module Displays port 80 POST codes Identify fan failure Identify processor failure Identify 5v standby power on state Identify the power state of the system Control panel DIMM end rear of board Center back edge of board Front center board 1" behind processor socket Front left board Control Panel Green Amber Each LED can be Off, Green, Amber, Red Amber Amber Amber Green Notes Press ID LED button or user Server Management software to turn on the LED. Green = No Fault Green Blink = degraded Amber = critical error or non- recoverable Amber blink = non-critical Blinking = Activity. No action required.
