Chapter 7 - Configure the Computer How to Configure the Computer You can configure many parameters on the CN50 such as the bar code symbologies it decodes or the network settings. These characteristics are controlled by configuration parameters. The values you set for these configuration parameters determine how the CN50 operates. There are several ways to configure the CN50: • Directly on the CN50 using Intermec Settings. This allows you to change only the settings on that computer. For more information, see the next section, "Use Intermec Settings On the Computer." • You can use the ScanNGo utility, which is part of SmartSystems™ Foundation, to quickly provide the CN50 with the minimal information necessary to connect to a secure network. How to Configure the Computer
You can configure many parameters on the CN50 such as the bar code
symbologies it decodes or the network settings. These characteristics
