Chapter 3-Label Design Directions Intermec Direct Protocol allows printing in four different directions. You can rotate the printable object clockwise around the anchor point/insertion point with a 90° increment (0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°) using a DIR instruction: DIR Default: Reset to default by: is a number 1-4 (DIR 1 = 0°; DIR 2 = 90°; DIR 3 = 180°; DIR 4 = 270°) 1 PRINTFEED (PF) Example: DIR 3 ↵ This instruction rotates all printable fields that follow to be printed across the media path and upside down in relation to how the media is fed out from the printer.
