Chapter 8-Advanced Features 8.1 Specifying Complex Bar Codes Complex 2-dimensional bar codes, dot codes, or composite codes, for example PDF417, QR Code, or RSS-14 codes, require many specifying parameters. Therefore, there is a complex instruction that allows all bar code parameters to be specified within a single instruction. This instruction can also be used for one-dimensional bar codes, see Chapter 3.4. BARSET[#,][""[, [,[,[,[, [,[,[,[, [,]]]]]]]]]]] limits size of syntax by specifying the first parameter (default 1) specifies the type of bar code (default "INT2OF5") specifies ratio wide/narrow bars (default 3) specifies ratio wide/narrow bars (default 1) specifies magnification (default 2) specifies height of bars in dots (default 100) - are bar code specific. Only used in some complex codes. See the Fingerprint Programmer's Reference Manual for more information on how these param- eters affect specific bar codes. 80 Intermec Direct Protocol v.8.60-Programmer's Reference Manual
