The wheelchair should not be lowered until the last stair has been negotiated and the wheelchair has been carried away from the stairway. 6.2 Stability and Balance To assure stability and proper operation of your wheelchair, you MUST at all times maintain proper balance. Your wheelchair has been designed to remain upright and stable during normal daily activities as long as you DO NOT move beyond the center of gravity. DO NOT lean forward out of the wheelchair any further than the length of the armrests. The drive behavior initially experienced by the user may be different from other wheelchairs previously used. This power wheelchair has Invacare's SureStep® technology, a feature that provides the wheelchair with optimum traction and stability when driving forward over transitions and thresholds. Refer to Chapter 13 Technical Data, page 92 for maximum height of transitions and thresholds. 6.2 Stability and Balance
To assure stability and proper operation of your wheelchair, you
