10 Service 10.1 Safety Information This section of the user manual provides service instructions for this product. All procedures in this section MUST be performed by a qualified technician/provider. -USERS/CAREGIVERS - If necessary, contact Invacare for a list of providers. -PROVIDERS/TECHNICIANS - For any service requirements beyond these procedures, refer to the online service manual at www.invacare.com or contact Invacare. -PROVIDERS/TECHNICIANS - For parts information, refer to the parts catalog at www.invacare.com or contact Invacare. -PROVIDERS/TECHNICIANS - DO NOT return product without first contacting your provider/Invacare for shipping and packing instructions. Performing procedures in this section may require the use of tools including: Flat blade and Phillips® screwdrivers, standard and/or metric sockets/wrenches, torque wrench, and hex (Allen) keys. 10 Service 10.1.1 Set Up DANGER! Risk of Death, Serious Injury, or Damage Continued use of the wheelchair that is not set to the correct specifications may cause erratic behavior of the wheelchair resulting in death, serious injury, or damage. -Performance adjustments should only be made by professionals of the healthcare field or persons fully conversant with this process and the driver's capabilities. -After the wheelchair has been set up/adjusted, check to make sure that the wheelchair performs to the specifications entered during the set up procedure. If the wheelchair does not perform to specifications, turn the wheelchair Off immediately and reenter set up specifications. Stop using the wheelchair, and contact Invacare, if wheelchair still does not perform to correct specifications. 60101916-A 69
