Troubleshooting Flash ROM Updates Updating Software C.3 Troubleshooting Flash ROM Updates Many of the problems that occur when updating the Flash ROM can be solved by completing the following steps. Since the Server cannot actually log into the file server, it has very limited access to the server directories. Check the file and directory permissions. Ensure the loadhost name and address are specified correctly and that their cases match those of the filenames on the host system. Ensure the file and path names are enclosed in quotes to preserve case. Ensure that TFTP is enabled on the host; several major UNIX vendors ship their systems with TFTP disabled by default.
