Select NONE for a fixed IP address. DHCP servers can register a name for this Spider device to assist in finding it, or you can configure it with a short host name or a fully qualified domain name. If you are using a fixed IP address, enter it in the usual dot notation. If you are using a fixed IP address, enter the subnet mask of the local network. If the Spider device is to be accessible from outside the local subnet, enter the IP address of the router providing access. For name resolution, enter the IP address of the primary Domain Name Server. This is optional, but needed if names rather than static IP addresses are used for certain Spider device functions requiring network connections.
