7: Interfaces Serial Port Settings After using the serial port to set up the network parameters, you can use the serial port for something else. You can establish a PPP connection to use a modem (Spider device only) or another serial connection to log into and operate the Spider device. If you want to access a console port remotely through the Spider device, SSH and Telnet passthrough is available. To configure the serial port, perform the following steps. 1. Click Interfaces > Serial Port. The Serial Port Settings page displays. Figure 7-2 SpiderDuo Serial Port Settings Page 2. Modify the following fields.
