4 Make sure you can see the volume control knob through the hole in front of the computer, and then push the cover back until it catches and fits the computer snugly. You should hear the cover click into place. 5 If the volume control knob doesn't line up with the hole, the sound card is probably out of position and needs to be adjusted.
