Printing on Heavy Paper Guidelines • Heavy paper is any paper heavier than 24 lb (90 g/m2). For cotton papers, you can use 24 lb paper. The maximum paper weight available for your printer is 43 lb (163 g/m2). • Do not use extremely heavy paper stock, which is greater than 43 lb (163 g/m2 bond). Misfeeds, mis-stacking, jams, poor toner fusing, poor print quality and excessive mechanical wear can result. 1 Load paper in the input tray you want to use with print side up. Note: Up to five sheets of heavy paper can be loaded in the automatic input tray. The manual input tray holds only one at a time. Manually-loaded heavy paper is shown. 2 Push the guide against the stack of paper without bending it. 4.14 USING PRINT MEDIA
