Chapter 2 MS-7680 Back Panel Mouse USB 2.0 Port USB 2.0 Port VGA Port LAN Line-In RS-Out Line-Out CS-Out Keyboard HDMI Port DVI-D Port USB 2.0 Port Mic SS-Out ▶ Mouse/Keyboard The standard PS/2® mouse/keyboard DIN connector is for a PS/2® mouse/keyboard. ▶ USB 2.0 Port The USB (Universal Serial Bus) port is for attaching USB devices such as keyboard, mouse, or other USB-compatible devices. Supports data transfer rate up to 480Mbit/s (Hi-Speed). ▶ HDMI Port The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is an all-digital audio/video interface capable of transmitting uncompressed streams. HDMI supports all TV format, including standard, enhanced, or high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. ▶ VGA Port The DB15-pin female connector is provided for monitor. ▶ DVI-D Port The DVI-D (Digital Visual Interface-Digital) connector allows you to connect a LCD monitor. It provides a high-speed digital interconnection between the computer and its display device. To connect an LCD monitor, simply plug your monitor cable into the DVI connector, and make sure that the other end of the cable is properly connected to your monitor (refer to your monitor manual for more information.) Important The HDMI, VGA and DVI-D display interfaces on the mainboard are designed to serve as IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) used. If you installed a processor without integrated graphics chip, these display ports will have no effect. 2-11

DVI-D Port
The DVI-D (D±g±tal V±sual Interface-D±g±tal) connector allows you to connect a LCD
mon±tor. It prov±des a h±gh-speed d±g±tal ±nterconnect±on between the computer and ±ts
d±splay dev±ce. To connect an LCD mon±tor, s±mply plug your mon±tor cable ±nto the DVI
connector, and make sure that the other end of the cable ±s properly connected to your
mon±tor (refer to your mon±tor manual for more ±nformat±on.)
Important
The HDMI, VGA and DVI-D d±splay ±nterfaces on the ma±nboard are des±gned to serve
as IGP (Integrated Graph±cs Processor) used. If you ±nstalled a processor w±thout
±ntegrated graph±cs ch±p, these d±splay ports w±ll have no effect.
