To overcome this, some software use a digital signature - the electronic form of a handwritten signature. A digital signature is extra information added to a document that identifies and authenticates information in the document. It is signed and acts like a unique summary of the information that is signed with a message digest in the document. If the document contains a virus, bad content, or is too large, the software might clean or remove some part of the message. Signed Content

altered. To overcome this, some software use a digital signature — the electronic form of a
