MOSMS Messages 3 Select Compose SMS. The message is automatically addressed to the phone number you chose. 4 Follow step 4 through step 8 of "Creating and Sending Messages" on page 62. Using Quick Notes Quick notes are short, pre-written text messages that you can create, edit, and send. You can store up to 20 quick notes. A quick note may be up to 30 characters long. To create a quick note: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Quick Notes > [New Quick Note]. 2 Press A under Create. Enter text. See "Entering Text" on page 55. -or- To choose from pre-installed notes: Press A under Browse. Scroll to the note you want. Press A under Select. 3 Press A under Store. Tip: For more options, including sending the quick note, press m. Using Drafts When you save a message as a draft, it is saved in the drafts folder. You must have a draft saved to have a drafts folder. To edit a draft: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Drafts Folder. 2 Press A under Change. 3 To edit the fields you want to change, follow step 3 through step 8 in "Creating and Sending Messages" on page 62. If you have a draft saved, you can create more drafts in the drafts folder: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Drafts Folder > [Create Msg]. 2 Press A under Create. 3 Follow step 3 through step 7 in "Creating and Sending Messages" on page 62. 4 Scroll to Save As Draft. Using the Outbox Messages you have sent are stored in the outbox. 64
