Chapter 5 Wireless This chapter describes how to configure the wireless features of your Model HR314 802.11a Hi-Speed Wireless Router. Note: If you are configuring the router from a wireless PC and you change the router's SSID, channel, or WEP settings, you will lose your wireless connection when you click on Apply. You must then change the wireless settings of your PC to match the router's new settings. From the menu bar on the left of the Main Menu of the browser interface, you can select the wireless configuration menus under the Access Point heading. Considerations For A Wireless Network In planning your wireless network, you should consider the level of security required. You should also select the physical placement of your router in order to maximize the network speed. This chapter describes how to configure the wireless features of your Model HR314 802.11a
