Configure the settings as explained in Table 13, Syslog Settings. 3. Click Apply to save your settings. Table 13. Syslog Settings Field Description Enable Syslog Enable the syslog settings, if you have a syslog server on your network. Syslog Server IP Address Enter the IP address to which the wireless controller and managed access points will send all syslogs, if the Syslog option is enabled. Server Port Number Enter the number of the port at which your syslog server is configured to listen to requests. Configuring Alarm Notification Settings You can classify some events as major or minor. For example, in the RF Management screen, you can specify whether a coverage hole should be classified as critical or major (see Basic RF Management on page 76). To configure Syslog settings:

Select
Configuration > System > Alerts > Syslog
. The Syslog Settings screen
displays:

Configuring Alarm Notification Settings
You can classify some events as major or minor. For example, in the RF Management
screen, you can specify whether a coverage hole should be classified as critical or major (see
Basic RF Management
on page 76).
