General Camera Setup The Setup Menu Press the d button M z (Setup) tab (A 12) The following settings can be changed in the setup menu by selecting the z tab. Set up Welcome screen Time zone and date Monitor settings Projector settings Print date Vibration reduction Motion detection Option Description Welcome screen Allows you to select the picture displayed as the welcome screen when the camera is turned on. Select COOLPIX to display the COOLPIX logo. Select Select an image to use a picture taken with the camera as the welcome screen. Time zone and date Allows you to set settings related to the camera's date and time. The Time zone setting allows you to specify the time zone where the camera is mainly used and whether or not daylight saving time is in effect. When the travel destination (x) is selected, the camera automatically calculates the time difference between the travel destination and the home time zone (w), and saves pictures using the date and time of the travel destination. Monitor settings* Allows you to select the kind of information that is displayed during shooting mode and playback mode. If you select Framing grid+auto info, a grid is displayed when shooting to help you frame the shot. The default setting is Auto info. You can also set the photo information displayed in playback mode, the image review settings, and the monitor brightness. • The Image review and Brightness settings are not available when the projector is in operation.
