Shooting Features Scene Mode (Shooting Suited to Scenes) e Night portrait O Use this mode for portraits taken at sunset or at night. • The camera detects a human face and focuses on it (A 65). • The camera smoothes skin tones by applying the skin softening function before recording pictures (A 67). • If no faces are detected, the camera focuses on the subject at the center of the screen. • Digital zoom is not available. f Party/indoor Captures the effects of candlelight and other indoor background lighting. • The camera focuses at the center of the frame. • Hold the camera steadily when shooting in dark surroundings. If you use a tripod to stabilize the camera, set Vibration reduction to Off in the setup menu (A 98).
