The answering machine can store up to 59 messages for each line. The maximum recording time is 3 minutes per message, or 30 minutes for all messages on both lines. The maximum length of an outgoing message is 1 minute. You can use the control keys on the base station to perform the basic functions of the answering machine such as message playback, deleting messages and adjustment of volume on the base station. For a description of each function of the control keys on the base station, please see "Overview of the base station" (section 5.4) for more details. You can also use the answering machine menu to access the answering machine functions. (Functions available differ depending on whether you are using the menu on the handset or the base station.) (TAM)
Both telephone lines of your phone
feature an answering machine that
records unanswered calls when it is
activated. The answering machine can
store up to 59 messages for each line. The
maximum recording time is 3 minutes per
message, or 30 minutes for all messages
on both lines. The maximum length of an
outgoing message is 1 minute. You can
use the control keys on the base station
