Paper and Other Media C Adjust the paper guide both sides to fit the paper width. ASI024S Note ❒ There are paper limit marks on the side of the paper guide. The maximum paper capacity that can be loaded in the tray is up to the upper line with Plain Paper 1, Plain Paper 2 (91 - 105 g/m2), Thick Paper 1 (106 - 160 g/m2), 5 or Thin Paper (66 - 74 g/m2), and up to the lower line with Thick Paper 2 (161 - 200 g/m2) or Envelope. Loading envelopes Important ❒ Check there is no air in the envelopes before loading. ❒ Load only one size and type of envelope at a time. ❒ Before loading envelopes, flatten their leading edges (the edge going into the printer) by running a pencil or ruler across them. ❒ Some kinds of envelope might cause misfeeds, wrinkles or print poorly. ❒ Print quality on envelopes may be uneven if parts of an envelope have differing thicknesses. Print one or two envelopes to check print quality. ❒ In a hot and humid environment, the envelope might be output creased or improper printing quality.
