Selecting the Surround Back Decoding Mode This function lets you select the decoding mode for the surround back signals of the multi channel input stream. By decoding the surround back signal of DVD software, etc., recorded in Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES Matrix, DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 format, etc., you can enjoy the kind of surround sound originally intended for the film (page 78). ENTER X/x AMP MENU 1 Press AMP MENU. Set the function of the remote to DVD, and then press AMP MENU. 2 Press X/x repeatedly until "SurrB DEC." appears in the front panel display, then press ENTER. 3 Press X/x to select the surround back mode you want according to the input stream, then press ENTER or AMP MENU.
