This engine features unique Sony technology, including: ● The first step in the digital processing system, Composite Component Processor (CCP-X), which enhances input signal-tonoise ratio by chroma decoder digital processing. ● DRC (Digital Reality Creation®) MultiFunction 2 circuitry: Enables the digital mapping of any NTSC source (DVD, VHS, DBS, Cable, etc.), to create a picture that is precise and finer in detail, rivaling high definition resolution.
