Cause/Remedy • The rechargeable battery is not charged. , Charge the rechargeable battery. • The volume is low. , Turn up the volume. • No disc is inserted. , Insert a recorded disc. • The HOLD function is turned on ("HOLD" appears in the display when you press an operation button on the recorder). , On the recorder, disable HOLD by sliding the HOLD switch to the opposite direction of the arrow. • The lid is not firmly closed. , Close the lid until it clicks.
