Audio input modes • AUTO 2CH When there are no digital audio signals, the analog audio signals input to the AUDIO IN (L/R) jacks are selected. • COAXIAL FIXED Specifies the digital audio signals input to the DIGITAL COAXIAL jack. • OPTICAL FIXED Specifies the digital audio signals input to the DIGITAL OPTICAL jack. • ANALOG 2CH FIXED Specifies the analog audio signals input to the AUDIO IN (L/R) jacks. • i.LINK FIXED Specifies the audio input to the i.LINK jacks. • HDMI FIXED Specifies the audio input to the HDMI jacks. Notes • You cannot select the digital audio input assigned to another function using the DIGITAL ASSIGN function (page 61). • Some audio input modes may not be set up depending on the input. • A INPUT MODE button does not work when i.LINK or HDMI input are selected. Naming inputs You can enter a name of up to 8 characters for inputs and display it on the receiver's display. This is convenient for attaching component names. It will tell you which component is connected to which jack. 1 2,3, 4 2 1 Press INPUT SELECTOR to select an input you want to create an index name for. You can also use INPUT SELECTOR on the receiver. 2 Press MAIN MENU repeatedly to select "CUSTOMIZE," then press the control key. You can also use MAIN MENU on the receiver. 3 Move the control key to V/v select "NAME IN?." You can also use MENU on the receiver. 4 Press the control key. The cursor flashes and you can select a character. Follow the procedure given in "To create an index name." 60GB
