Audio input modes • AUTO 2CH When there are no digital audio signals, the analog audio signals input to the AUDIO IN (L/R) jacks are selected. • COAXIAL FIXED Specifies the digital audio signals input to the DIGITAL COAXIAL jack. • OPTICAL FIXED Specifies the digital audio signals input to the DIGITAL OPTICAL jack. • ANALOG 2CH FIXED Specifies the analog audio signals input to the AUDIO IN (L/R) jacks. • i.LINK FIXED Specifies the audio input to the i.LINK jacks. • HDMI FIXED Specifies the audio input to the HDMI jacks. Notes • You cannot select the digital audio input assigned to another function using the DIGITAL ASSIGN function (page 61). • Some audio input modes may not be set up depending on the input. • A INPUT MODE button does not work when i.LINK or HDMI input are selected. Naming inputs You can enter a name of up to 8 characters for inputs and display it on the receiver's display. This is convenient for attaching component names. It will tell you which component is connected to which jack. 1 2,3, 4 2 1 Press INPUT SELECTOR to select an input you want to create an index name for. You can also use INPUT SELECTOR on the receiver. 2 Press MAIN MENU repeatedly to select "CUSTOMIZE," then press the control key. You can also use MAIN MENU on the receiver. 3 Move the control key to V/v select "NAME IN?." You can also use MENU on the receiver. 4 Press the control key. Audio input modes
AUTO 2CH
When there are no digital audio signals, the
analog audio signals input to the AUDIO IN
(L/R) jacks are selected.
COAXIAL FIXED
Specifies the digital audio signals input to
the DIGITAL COAXIAL jack.
OPTICAL FIXED
Specifies the digital audio signals input to
the DIGITAL OPTICAL jack.
ANALOG 2CH FIXED
Specifies the analog audio signals input to
the AUDIO IN (L/R) jacks.
i.LINK FIXED
Specifies the audio input to the i.LINK
jacks.
HDMI FIXED
Specifies the audio input to the HDMI jacks.
Notes
• You cannot select the digital audio input assigned
to another function using the DIGITAL ASSIGN
function (page 61).
• Some audio input modes may not be set up
depending on the input.
• A INPUT MODE button does not work when
i.LINK or HDMI input are selected.
