x HEADPHONE (2CH) This mode is selected automatically when you use headphones when 2 channels mode (page 89)/A.F.D. mode (page 91) is selected. Standard 2 channel stereo sources completely bypass the sound field processing and multi channel surround formats are downmixed to 2 channels. x HEADPHONE (MULTI) This mode is selected automatically when you use headphones during MULTI CH IN is selected. Outputs the analog signals input to the MULTI CHANNEL INPUT jacks that are downmixed to 2 channels. Note Headphone (2ch) mode is selected when the sound field does not work. • The DSD signal is received via i.LINK. • The sampling frequency has received a signal higher than 48kHz. To turn off the surround effect for MOVIE/MUSIC Move the easy scroll key to select either "A.F.D. AUTO" or "2CH STEREO" in the sound field list on the display. Enjoying the surround effect at low volume levels (NIGHT MODE) This function allows you to retain a theater like environment at low volume levels. This function can be used with other sound fields. When watching a movie late at night, you will be able to hear the dialog clearly even at a low volume level. 1 2 1 Press < repeatedly to select the RECEIVER menu. 2 Move the easy scroll key to select "NIGHT MODE," then press the key to enter the selection. The NIGHT MODE function is activated. Repeat steps 1 and 2 when NIGHT MODE is set to OFF. Tip While this function is on, the BASS, TREBLE, and EFFECT levels increase, and "D.RANGE COMP." is automatically set to "MAX" (page 101). 94GB
