Custom install mode This receiver features the custom install modes described below. Depending on how you intend to use these features, use of these modes may require additional equipment (available separately) or modification of your listening environment. Please consult the retailer where you purchased this receiver for more information. 1,2, 3 1 1 Press MAIN MENU repeatedly to select "CIS," then press the control key. You can also use MAIN MENU on the receiver. 2 Move the control key V/v to select the menu item. You can also use MENU on the receiver. For details, see "CIS menu item and parameters." 3 Move the control key B/b to select the parameter you want. You can also use +/- on the receiver. 4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to adjust other items. CIS menu item and parameters Initial settings are underlined. x 2ND ZONE (2nd zone source) x 3RD ZONE (3rd zone source) Lets you select the source signals (analog audio and video signals for 2nd zone; only analog audio signals for 3rd zone) you want to output in the 2nd zone or 3rd zone (except PHONO, MULTI CHANNEL INPUT, i.LINK and HDMI). When you select "SOURCE," the signals of the current input are output. Notes • Connect video signals to 2ND ZONE using the VIDEO jack. • Connect audio signals to 2ND ZONE or 3RD ZONE using the AUDIO L/R jack. Tips • Only signals from components connected to the analog input jacks are output through the 2ND ZONE or 3RD ZONE jacks. No signal is output from components connected to only the digital input jacks. • When "SOURCE" is selected, the signals input to the MULTI CHANNEL INPUT jacks are not output from the 2ND ZONE or 3RD ZONE jacks even when the MULTI CH IN function is used. The 2 channel analog audio signals of the current input are output. x INSTALLER MODE (RS232C control) • ON The receiver can receive commands from the RS232C port even when the power is off (standby mode). • OFF The receiver does not receive commands from the RS232C port when the power is off (standby mode). x 12V TRIG. 2ND ZONE (2nd zone source)

3RD ZONE (3rd zone source)
Lets you select the source signals (analog
audio and video signals for 2nd zone; only
analog audio signals for 3rd zone) you want to
output in the 2nd zone or 3rd zone (except
PHONO, MULTI CHANNEL INPUT, i.LINK
and HDMI). When you select “SOURCE,” the
signals of the current input are output.
Notes
