Setting the Printer Image Quality Adjusting the Printer Image Quality To adjust the printer image quality, open the Printer tab on the administration screen and then touch the button. The following screen appears. Cleaning the Cabinet If the cabinet is dirty, wipe it using a cloth that has been soaked in water, or mild detergent diluted in water, and thoroughly wrung out. Wipe the cabinet dry using a dry cloth. Do not use thinners, benzene, alcohol, chemical cloths, or other solvents that may damage the finish. Cleaning the Display If the display is dirty, wipe it using a dry cloth or a cloth that has been soaked in water and thoroughly wrung out. Do not use even mild detergents as doing so may damage the surface of the display. Never rub or strike the surface of the display with hard objects. Printer Color Settings Adjust the color settings by touching the [b] and [B] buttons for each item. Red, Green, Blue Adjusts the color component of the respective color. Dark, Light Adjusts the gradation in dark and light sections. Gamma Adjusts the halftone density. Sharpness Adjusts the outline sharpness of the image. Adjusting the Gray Balance In this unit, the gray balance value measured as being colorless is set as adjusted value No. 0. The following procedure is used to adjust the gray balance to a desired tint. Note that in some cases the gray balance of the ink ribbon and the printing paper may be subject to some deviation due to conditions during transport, etc. 1 Open the Print tab on the administration screen, and then touch the button. 53 Setting the Printer Image Quality

Cleaning the Cabinet

Adjust the color settings by touching the [

Adjusts the color component of the respective color.

Adjusts the gradation in dark and light sections.
Gamma
Adjusts the halftone density.
Sharpness
Adjusts the outline sharpness of the image.
