7-Playback When the Home Screen is open , use and other buttons to operate the unit in the same way you would use a CD player or other audio playback device. When the Home Screen is not open, however, these buttons have different functions. Before using the following procedures, insert an SD card that has been formatted by this unit and that contains audio files that the unit can playback. NOTE SD cards that have been formatted by a TASCAM DR series device can also be used with this unit. Playback When the unit is stopped, press the Á button to start playback. NOTE •• Only files in the playback area can be played. •• You can also choose files for playback by name on the BROWSE screen. Stopping playback When the Home Screen is open and a track is playing back, press the [ª] button to stop playback at the current position (pause). Press the the file. [ª] button again to return to the beginning of Selecting a file During playback or when stopped, use the  and ¯ buttons to select a file. Press the  button to skip to the previous file. Press the¯ button to skip to the next file. Only files in the playback area can be played. (See "Using the PLAY MODE screen to set the playback area" on page 60.) The song name, file number and other information for the currently playing file are shown on the display. The "ª" icon appears on the display when playback is stopped at the beginning of a track, and the "π" icon appears when playback is stopped in the middle of a track (paused). TASCAM GB-10 57

The song name, file number and other information for the
