15-System settings Restoring the default values (factory settings) Use the INITIALIZEitem to restore the various settings of this unit to their factory default values. 1. Use the §/BROWSE and ¶/ buttons to select "INITIALIZE" ("Exec" appears light on dark). 2. Press the Á button to open a confirmation pop-up window. 3. Press the Ábutton to initialize the settings. Press the [ª] button to cancel initialization. Using QUICK FORMAT Use the "QUICK FORMAT" item to format an SD card quickly. Using the QUICK FORMATitem deletes all music files on the card, and automatically creates MUSIC and UTILITY folders and a dr-1.sys file. 1. Press the Á button to execute quick formatting. Press the [ª] button to cancel quick formatting. Using FULL FORMAT Use the "FULL FORMAT" item to completely format an SD card. Using the FULL FORMATitem deletes all music files on the card, and automatically creates MUSIC and UTILITY folders and a dr-1.sys file. If you use the FULL FORMATitem, the unit checks the memory for errors before formatting the card. For this reason it takes a long time compared to the QUICK FORMAToption. 1. FULL FORMAT
item, the unit checks the
