7-Playback Adjusting the balance between playback and input signals You can adjust the balance between the input sound of a connected guitar or bass being played and the playback sound of a file. Use the INPUT volume to adjust the level of the input signal, and press the BALANCE button to open the "BALANCE" item and adjust the level of the playback signal. Adjust the volume of the playback sound using the VALUE (+/-) buttons. The range is from "0" (minimum) to "20" (maximum), and the default value is "20". NOTE The BALANCEsetting only affects the volume when G.IN is ON ( ). When G.IN is OFF( ), changing the BALANCE value has no effect on the volume. Disabling the guitar input When you want to listen to just the playback signal, you can disable the guitar input to prevent any unwanted noise. If you want to disable the guitar input (GUITAR IN jack), press the¶/ button when the Home Screen is open so that the G.IN icon appears as dark letters on a light background ( ). Press the ¶/ button again to enable the guitar input. The G.IN icon appears as light letters on a dark background ( ) when input is enabled. NOTE If you turn the guitar input off ( level meter area. ), "[OFF]" appears in the When the guitar input is off, the BALANCE setting is canceled and the playback level returns to its original setting. Adjusting the balance between
playback and input signals
You can adjust the balance between the input sound of a
connected guitar or bass being played and the playback
sound of a file.
Use the
INPUT
volume to adjust the level of the input signal,
and press the
BALANCE
button to open the “
BALANCE
” item
and adjust the level of the playback signal.
Adjust the volume of the playback sound using the
VALUE
(+/–) buttons. The range is from “
0
” (minimum) to “
20
”
(maximum), and the default value is “
20
”.
NOTE
The
BALANCE
setting only affects the volume when
G.IN
is
ON (
). When
G.IN
is OFF(
), changing the
BALANCE
value has no effect on the volume.
Disabling the guitar input
When you want to listen to just the playback signal, you can
disable the guitar input to prevent any unwanted noise.
If you want to disable the guitar input (
GUITAR IN
jack), press

button when the Home Screen is open so that the
G.IN
icon appears as dark letters on a light background (
).
Press the

button again to enable the guitar input. The
G.IN
icon appears as light letters on a dark background (
) when input is enabled.
NOTE
If you turn the guitar input off (

When the guitar input is off, the BALANCE setting is canceled
and the playback level returns to its original setting.
