9-Special Playback (playback control function) Using this unit's playback control functions, you can change the speed of playback without changing the pitch and vice versa. You can use these playback control functions for effective practice and learning new parts. When the "SPEED" is set from x0.5-x0.9, the shown, and when it is set from x1.1-x1.5, the shown. icon is icon is Changing the speed You can use the SPEED function to set the playback speed. This unit has a Variable Speed Audition (VSA) function, so even when playback speed is changed the pitch stays the same. Press the SPEED button to show the SPEED setting area at the bottom of the Home Screen. Changing the key You can use the KEY function to change the pitch of playback in semitone intervals (and the FINE TUNE function to change it in cents) without changing the speed. Press the KEY button to show the KEY setting area at the bottom of the Home Screen on the display. Press the KEY button again to show the FINE TUNE setting area. Use the VALUE (+/-) buttons to set the playback speed. The speed can be set in a range between 50% (x0.5) and 150% (x1.5) of the original speed in 10% increments (default value: "x1.0"). KEY can be set in a range of ±6 semitones (â6-ã6). (The default value is "0".) 66 TASCAM GB-10
