8-Playback Area and Playlist Playlist You can make a playlist, which is a set of tracks for playback. You can play just the tracks in your playlist by setting the "AREA" item to "PLAYLIST" on the PLAY MODEScreen. In addition, when the playback area is set to "PLAYLIST", loop playback has additional functions. (See "Using loop playback with the playlist" on page 69.) Adding files to the playlist 1. On the Home Screen, press the §/BROWSE button to open the BROWSE screen. NOTE For more information about the BROWSEscreen, see Chapter 6 "Working with Files and Folders (BROWSE screen)" on page 53. 2. Select the file that you want to add to the playlist and press the Á button to open the following pop-up menu. For more information about selecting files, see "BROWSE screen navigation" on page 53. 3. Select "ADD LIST", and press the Á button to add that file to the playlist. The pop-up menu closes. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary. Numbers are assigned to the files in the order that they are added to the list. Editing the playlist You can view the playlist you have made on the PLAYLIST Screen. On this screen, you can also play files and edit the playlist 1. Press the MENU button to open the MENUscreen. 2. Use the §/BROWSE and ¶/ buttons to select the "PLAYLIST" menu item, and press the Á button to open the PLAYLISTscreen. TASCAM GB-10 63
