en-us Operation 4.3 Cooking zones Here you can find an overview of the cooking zones available on your cooktop. Place the cookware on the cooking zone that best matches its size. When a cooking zone is active, the corresponding displays light up. Notes ¡ The cooking zone regulates the temperature by switching the heat on and off. The heat may also switch on and off when on the highest power level. - This protects components from overheating. - The appliance is protected from electrical overload. - Better cooking results are achieved. ¡ For cooking zones with more than one heating element, the different sections of the cooking zone may turn on and off at different intervals. Note: The cooktop turns off automatically when all the cooking zones have been turned off for more than 20 seconds. 5.3 Cooking zone settings In order to make settings on a cooking zone, the cooking zone has to be selected.
