Chapter 7 Toshiba Utilities Your computer includes several utilities designed to help you to configure your system to best meet your individual needs. Together, these allow you to ascertain certain system details, set additional options, or change default options. These utilities are described in this chapter: ❖ TOSHIBA Accessibility ❖ Fn-esse® ❖ Hotkey utility ❖ TOSHIBA Console TOSHIBA Accessibility The TOSHIBA Accessibility utility allows you to use the Fn key to create a hot key combination with one of the function keys without pressing the two keys simultaneously as is usually required. Using Accessibility enables you to make the Fn key a sticky key, meaning you can press it once, release it and then press a function key to activate the hot key function. 197
