38 Finding Your Way Around Underside The play/pause button starts the disc player, or makes the disc player pause if it is currently playing. The stop/eject button stops a disc that is currently playing. Press the button again to eject the disc. Underside *Optional Wi-Fi Mini-PCI cover Subwoofer speaker Modem cover Expansion memory slot cover Battery cover Battery release latch Hard disk drive cover The Wi-Fi Mini-PCI cover secures a Wi-Fi Mini-PCI card for wireless networking (*for systems with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth). The subwoofer speaker allows the user to better hear bass sounds. The modem cover protects the built-in modem. The battery cover provides access to the battery module, which lets you use your computer when a standard electrical outlet is not available. For information about replacing the battery, see "Changing the main battery" on page 133. The battery release latch secures the battery cover to the computer, preventing the battery from dislodging from the computer case.
