212 Toshiba Utilities TOSHIBA Console By changing the options that appear in the Toshiba Power Saver Properties window and clicking OK, you can reconfigure that function. Any options that you change become effective when you click either OK or Apply. Plugged in section This section has a single preset power usage mode - Full Power. You can create other AC power modes, but Toshiba recommends use of the preset Full Power mode. Running on batteries section The preset modes are: ❖ Long Life ❖ Normal ❖ High Power ❖ DVD Playback ❖ Presentation ❖ Super Long Life Although you can change the properties for any of these modes, this is not recommended. If you need a customized mode, create a new mode with the properties you require. The DVD Playback mode applies only when the WinDVD 2000 program is playing. Creating a new power mode 1 Highlight one of the preset modes. 2 Click Create copy. 3 A new mode appears with the title "Copy Name" where Name is the title of the mode you copied. Delete this title, type in the name for your new power mode, then press Enter.
