TOSHIBA Pocket PC e750 Bluetooth Chapter 9 Bluetooth This chapter is valid for Bluetooth only. The Toshiba Pocket PC has two types Bluetooth software. One is Toshiba Bluetooth software, the other is Microsoft standard Bluetooth software. The Toshiba Bluetooth software is available on the integrated Bluetooth model only. In other model, Microsoft Bluetooth icon and some Bluetooth function appears, but these does not work without available Bluetooth device. This section describes only Toshiba Bluetooth software. Specifications By enabling the Bluetooth device on your Toshiba Pocket PC, you will be able to wirelessly communicate with Bluetooth-enabled PC's, modems and other peripherals, and chat with other Toshiba Pocket PC's. You can use the Bluetooth to connect your Toshiba Pocket PC to only one device at a time. The Toshiba Pocket PC supports these Bluetooth services: COM service (Serial Port Profile) This service enables you to connect to a computer via a serial port to send and receive data. COM service is also used when connecting to a computer with ActiveSync and when chatting with other Toshiba Pocket PCs. DUN service (Dial-up Networking Profile) LAP service (LAN Access Profile) FTP service (File Transfer Protocol Profile) This service enables you to transfer files to and from a device with FTP service, such as a computer. The Toshiba Pocket PC has two types Bluetooth software. One is Toshiba
