USING EAR FORCE® SURROUND SOUND HEADPHONES Turtle Beach Ear Force headphones are a perfect add-on for the Montego DDL. Be sure to check them out at www.TurtleBeach.com. The optional Turtle Beach Ear Force surround-sound headphones let you experience surround-sound without having to set-up a 5.1 speaker system. Currently, two models are available: The Ear Force HPA2 includes an amplifier unit that boosts the output level of the 5.1 output signals to provide head-shaking bass. The HPA2 includes a removable microphone compatible with the Montego DDL microphone input. The HPA2 includes four speakers in each ear cup for reproducing Front, Surround, Center and Sub audio signals from the Montego DDL 5.1 analog outputs, providing a realistic surround-sound experience without the need for a 5.1 speaker system. Ear Force HPA2 with Amplifier To connect the HPA2 to the Montego DDL analog outputs, insert the colored jacks on the headphone cable into the matching plugs on the Montego DDL bracket (Green = Front, Black = Surround, Orange = Center/Sub, Pink = Microphone). When placing the headphones over your ears, be sure to place the cable/mic side on the left ear so that the front and rear speakers will be correctly positioned. 20 User's Guide
