Make sure you trap the Cable between the Washer and the Arm so the Cable can not slip off. Attach the PEC-DECK ARM CABLE (31) into the bracket end of the PEC-DECK WEIGHT STACK CABLE (29) with a 4 1/2" PULLEY (M) (61). Fasten the bracket and Pulley together with a 3/8" X 1 3/4" HEX HEAD BOLT (82) and a 3/8" NYLON LOCK NUT (81). At the top of the PEC-DECK STATION UPRIGHT (2) there are brackets welded to each side. Bolt a PULLEY PIVOT BRACKET (53) into each of these welded brackets as illustrated with a 5/16" X 3 1/4" HEX HEAD BOLT (70) and 5/16" NYLON LOCK NUTS (72). ? 3, Hook the PEC-DECK ARM CABLE (31) into a 3 1/2" PULLEY (K) & (L) (62). Position a "L" CABLE TRAP BRACKET (54) against the Pulley so it is positioned at the top and slightly back and bolt to the inside of the Pivot Bracket with a 3/8" X 1 3/4" HEX HEAD BOLT (82) anda 3/8" NYLON LOCK NUT (81). IMPORTANT: Check to see that the Cable Trap is rotated back so it does not rub against the Cable and that the Pulley turns freely. Tighten the Bolt tightly so that the Cable Trap Bracket can not pivot. Repeat this assembly procedure to the bracket on the other side of the Frame. Next, go to the loop end of the CABLE (31) at the bottom of the PEC-DECK UPRIGHT (2). Assemble a 4 1/2" PULLEY (M) (61) onto the Cable loop and fasten into the two OFFSET BEND PULLEY BRACKETS (52) (one end previously assembled to the PEC-DECK WEIGHT STACK CABLE (29). Bolt this assembly in place using a 3/8" X 1 3/4" HEX HEAD BOLT (82) anda 3/8" NYLON LOCK NUT (81). THE CABLE RUN'FOR THE LAT PULL DOWN, LOWER PULLEY AT THE DIP STATION AND PEC-DECK STATION IS NOW COMPLETE. u The next step is to adjust out the slack in the Cable run. To do this, first insert a WEIGHT SELECTOR PIN (130) into the Weight stack. Go to the Cable end as it comes out the Low Pulley position at the Dip Station. Pull out on the Cable until it is in tension. While holding the Cable taught, push the rubber ball stopper firmly against the lower Pulley. Slide the METAL ADJUSTER FERRULE (58) against the stopper ball and tighten the set screw down tightly against the Cable. As the Gym is used the Cable will relax and stretch and this procedure will have to be repeated as slack occurs in the Cable run. It is important that excess slack always be adjusted out to insure proper exercise resistance and protect Cables from damage and excess wear.

and
this
procedure
will
have
to
be
repeated
as
slack
occurs
in
the
Cable

It
is
important
that
excess
slack
always
be
adjusted
out
to
insure
proper
exercise
resistance
and
protect
Cables
from
damage
